Need Spring Break plans? Join us March 9th-15th, 2025 in New York City! We can't wait. Stay tuned for more information coming your way this fall! We only take 8 students, so don't miss out on this unique opportunity.
Common Questions
What does the trip include?
The trip costs $1500 and includes your airfare, hotel, unlimited metro pass, and admission to all scheduled activities. It will also pay for at least two group meals. You should be prepared to bring $50/day to cover other meals on the trip.
What will we do?
At minimum, we will visit the Statue of Liberty & Ellis Island, see a Broadway show, enjoy sunset on top of the Empire State Building, visit multiple museums, and have opportunities to engage with Baylor Alumni. We are still working out some other fun details, so stay tuned! Students attending the trip will get a say in the planning process.
When is the deadline to sign-up?
We will open the application during move-in this fall and approve students on a rolling basis. Once you are approved for the trip, you will have 7 days to pay the $300 non-refundable deposit. The remaining $1200 balance is applied to your Spring Semester Bill. You can find the application HERE.
Where are we staying?
We are staying at the Freehand Hotel in Manhattan. It's close to Grand Central Station, the Empire State Building, and the Flat Iron District. Each room has 4 bunk beds and a full bathroom. The hotel has a coffee shop, two restaurants, a gym, and a lounge area.
Will we have any free time on the trip?
Of course! One feature of the trip is that you get to do a lot of exploring. You will have free time to spend seeing sights in the city that interest you. We just require that you remain with at least one member from our group at all times.
