Our Mission

The mission of the Business and Innovation Living-Learning Community (B&I LLC) is to cultivate belonging and purpose through a Christ-centered residential experience rooted in the Hankamer School of Business values of Community, Humility, Excellence, and Stewardship. Through meaningful relationships, leadership development, innovative thinking, and engagement in the Baylor community, students are empowered to grow as values-driven leaders who positively impact their communities and the world of business. 

Our Goals

1. Foster belonging and community through meaningful relationships and shared experiences.
2. Support students in discerning their calling and purpose through exploration of vocation, values, and opportunities in business and leadership.
3. Promote holistic development by encouraging growth in academic success, leadership, well-being, and character.
4. Cultivate leadership capacity through experiential learning, reflection, and leadership opportunities.
5. Encourage entrepreneurial and innovative thinking by developing creativity, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
6. Strengthen relationships among faculty, staff, alumni, industry professionals, and the greater Waco community.
7. Promote engagement and involvement in the Baylor experience by connecting students with campus resources, traditions and organizations. 
8. Encourage stewardship and service by empowering students to positively impact their communities.
